We have a reader.

My Son. He is a reader. He is nearing the end of second grade and is reading up to a 5.1 grade level (and comprehending!).

Therefore and thusto, we are on the lookout for Chapter Books! If anyone has any old books that their kids have outgrown or whathaveyou, we would love to have them.

We are currently on the lookout for:

The Chocolate Touch by Patrick Skene Catling

The Mouse and The Motorcycle by Beverly Cleary

Marley A Dog Like No Other by John Grogan

D'Aulaires Book of Greek Myths by Ingri D'Aulaire and Edgar Parin D'Aulaire

Thanks Interweb. You rock!

Books

"Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read." - Groucho Marx

You're Dune!

by Frank Herbert

You have control over a great wealth of resources, but no one wants to let you have them. You've decided to try to defend yourself, but it may take eons before you really get back what you feel you deserve. Meanwhile you have a cult-like following of minions waiting for your life to progress. This would all be even more exciting if you could just get the sand out of your eyes.
